Plymouth Church UCC
An Open and Affirming and Just Peace Congregation
“Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28
The Caring Department of Plymouth Church coordinates the efforts of the church in the areas of pastoral and congregational care.
We show our love for one another by reaching out in times of need, illness, loss, and joy.
Those with special gifts for listening are trained to serve as pastoral care ministers.
Our small group ministry program ChristCare invites all members to participate in a small group which meets regularly to share and care for one another.
Our three ordained ministers offer pastoral care in response to prayer requests and other needs.
Part of what it means to be a community of faith is to care for one another, in good times and bad. Learn more about the many ways we care for one another in this congregation in these volunteer ministries. Contact the church office to talk with team leaders.
