We invite you to worship with us, especially during the holy seasons of Lent and Advent. We mark these important Christian holy days with special prayers, music and liturgy that help reconnect us with God’s grace and love.
Ash Wednesday: This marks the start of the Lenten season, leading up to Holy Week and Easter.
Palm Sunday: We celebrate Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem with trumpets, drums and organ.
Maundy Thursday: The Agape Meal (Love Feast) commemorates Jesus’ last supper with disciples. Communion is served.
Service of Tenebrae (The Extinguishing of the Light): One of the holiest services in the Christian year, Tenebrae marks the betrayal and arrest of Jesus. The service features a choir and string quartet.
Easter Sunday: We celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus with choir, organ and brass music.
Advent & Christmas
Join us for any of Plymouth Church’s Advent season activities and services as we build anticipation for Christ’s joyous birth at Christmas.
Blue Christmas: A meditative service expressing God’s comfort and presence during times of loss and challenge.
Christmas Eve Services:
